My thoughts on this book so far is that it is an intelligent look at the use of social media and PR as a new set of tools and choices in the marketing mix. The most important thing that I've taken out of this book so far is the need to create "buyer profiles" and then ensure that you have materials that can support their efforts to learn about your products, services, and solutions. I've actually been able to apply it directly in my new job.
I've finally realized that I needed to dump my hosting provider and move to a provider that could allow me to use an easy to setup drupal setup. I've been relying mostly on facebook and LinkedIn properties for the last couple of years, but that will change. Smithworld will become the first stop shop for all of my web properties, and will be the launching point for the rest. Enjoy.
